The Vineyard
This wine is made from grapes harvested at Hanna's Red Ranch in the Alexander Valley and Hanna's Bismark Mountain Vineyard high in Sonoma County's Mayacamas mountains. Every year there are certain lots of Bismark Mountain wines that don't quite make the grade for that luxury program, but are delicious wines nonetheless. This blend contains Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Zinfandel, Pinot Noir, Malbec and Petit Verdot in descending order.

Vintage Notes
2003 was a challenging year at our Bismark Mountain Vineyard. Many wines lacked the extraction and intensity required for our elite Bismark label. They are, however, forward, juicy and quaffable. Bismark comprises the majority of the blend in our 2003 Two Ranch Red.
