Wines
With a range of five labels making up our HANNA Winery portfolio, our wines span a diverse and daring geographic region, offering not only a great selection, but the very best of what Sonoma County is known for. From the Bordeaux and Italian styles of the Alexander Valley and two rugged mountain vineyards in Dry Creek and Sonoma Valley, to Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the cool Russian River Valley, we are proud to offer such an extensive range of wines.
Hanna
Our flagship tier is what put HANNA on the map. These wines are well crafted, delicious, and accessible. Our renowned Sauvignon Blanc leads our flagship, along with HANNA Russian River Chardonnay and Pinot, and Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec. HANNA Two Ranch Red and Rose showcase our blending prowess from our Sonoma vineyards.

2024 HANNA Sauvignon Blanc, Russian River Valley, 91 Points, Wine Spectator
“Aromatic and distinctive, oozing with notes of honeysuckle, wild fennel and lemon blossoms on a sleek and juicy frame, backed by details of pomelo, fresh lemon and Honeycrisp apple. Finishes with plenty of oomph from the fresh acidity and a touch of Himalayan sea salt. Drink now.” – MaryAnn Worobiec
Hanna Reserve
Our Reserve tier is the best of the best from our Alexander Valley Red Ranch. Only select rows from select blocks make it into our HANNA Reserve, and then only if those lots make the winemaker’s final cut. With production at under 500 cases for each wine, these are truly artisanal wines. Reserve Cabernet, Merlot, Malbec, and our Bordeaux blend Alchimie make up this tier.

93-Points, 2021 HANNA Reserve Alexander Valley Malbec
“The nose of this opaque, almost purple, wine shows aromas of lavish black cherry, raspberry and anise. Broad and textured, the palate is saturated with cassis, blueberry, coffee and licorice flavors, giving way to a long and marvelously balanced finish with plenty of acid to balance the richness of the tannin. Grill a steak and go to town!”
Bismark
Bismark Mountain Vineyard wines are single vineyard gems from our rugged vineyard high atop the Mayacamas Mountains in Sonoma. These terroir driven wines are inky in color, incredibly concentrated in flavor and age beautifully. Cabernet Sauvignon, our Bordeaux blend Titan, Malbec and Zinfandel are produced from this unique vineyard.

92-Points, 2022 Bismark Moon Mountain District Methode Carbonique Petite Sirah
“The softer character from the carbonic maceration used to make this wine is quite charming. Red raspberry and coffee aromas mingle with the classic plum and blueberry notes on the nose, while the palate exhibits textbook tannin, power and length. Grab a grilled ribeye and get to work.”
93-Points, 2021 Bismark Moon Mountain District Chardonnay
“A hint of green peeks through the edge of this straw-colored Chardonnay, while melon, pear and quince aromas dominate the nose. There’s sunny brightness on the palate, as fresh lemon and orange pith flavors join the party. The finish is mineral driven, with a hint of chalkiness emerging over time.”

94 Points – 2021 HANNA Bismark Moon Mountain District Titan
“Richly layered, saturated with flavor, velvety in texture and full-bodied. A mouth-filing, ripe and deep red blend with flavors of black cherries, blueberries, dark chocolate and spearmint. Offers good balance, potential for aging and lots of pleasure now. Drink or hold.” – Jim Gordon, Executive Editor James Suckling
Elias
Elias is a tribute to our founder, Dr. Elias S. Hanna. From grapes grown at our original Home Ranch in the cool Russian River Valley, Elias Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are limited production wines coddled in the cellar. Similar to the HANNA Reserve, only select barrels are chosen for inclusion in the Elias tier.

91-Points, 2013 Elias Russian River Valley Pinot Noir
It boasts a surprisingly deep ruby/purple color, lots of spicy black cherry fruit, medium to full body, and lovely texture as well as length. It is another excellent wine from HANNA. Drink it over the next 5-6 years.
